This year, Kawabe Memorial House is very grateful to be a part of the 501 Commons’ GiveBIG campaign on May 3-4, 2022.
This 48-hour event focuses on raising funds for nonprofits in the Seattle area. Please help us in our efforts to continue the legacy of Mr. Harry S. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Kawabe Memorial House Board of Directors is soliciting
proposals from qualified individuals to write a book about Kawabe Memorial
Kawabe Memorial House’s RFP (Request for Proposal)* includes a description of the
services to be provided by respondents; the minimum contents of the responses;
and the factors to be used to evaluate the responses. For a copy, please click the link below.

Kawabe Memorial House (KMH), a private non-profit organization providing affordable housing since 1969, is pleased to announce the hiring of Emiko Mizuki as its new Executive Director.
As the Executive Director, Mizuki will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Kawabe Memorial House. Mizuki will also provide strategic insight and leadership to the KMH Board to ensure the organization’s sustainability well into the future for the community.
Mizuki, a longtime resident of Seattle, comes to KMH as an experienced professional who has directed and managed healthcare programs in the community. She managed the Assisted Living and Adult Family Home Programs at Kin On and was the Administrator and Director of Senior Services at Legacy House (an Assisted Living facilities).
