Job Title: Part-Time Assistant Chef
Location: Kawabe Memorial House, 221 18th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144
Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour DOE

Kawabe Memorial House, a respected senior living community in Seattle, is seeking a skilled
and enthusiastic Part-Time Assistant Chef to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a
professional who enjoys preparing healthy, delicious meals while making a positive impact on
the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Chef in meal preparation, cooking, and meeting dietary requirements,
including special diets.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and uphold food safety standards.
• Support inventory management and supply orders.
• Collaborate on menu planning focused on nutrition and flavor.
• Assist in training and supervising kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
• Experience as a kitchen assistant or in a similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Team player with strong time-management skills.
• Culinary education or certification is a plus.
