This lunch program at Kawabe Memorial House is called “Meiji Kai Lunch Program.” The program was originally began in 1975 at NVC (Nisei Veterans Committee) Memorial Hall to serve Japanese style lunch for NVC members and their families, then transferred to Kawabe Memorial House in 2002. Today, this program serves healthy lunch at low cost, as well as socializing opportunities for our residents and seniors in our community.
